The many ways you can support us...

Why do people sponsor us?

The reasons are many and varied - a common theme is that we PESTER them! We work REALLY hard to get this sponsorship it's our biggest source of fundraising. Look at the Amsterslam2006 ride, most of that huge sum was from our business sponsorship. This is what they tell us they get out of sponsoring us...

  • Press and Marketing - we work hard to get all our rides in York and Selby local press, national press and relavant magazines. We almost had a TV interview for the Amsterslam ride (next time!). We are regularly interviewed on Minster Fm, Radio York and Viking FM.
  • Brand awareness and web traffic from Logo's on our website and links to their website (Links back to your site help with Google rankings!) We send thousands of emails to local businesses in the York, Selby and Yorkshire area when we promote these rides.
  • Charitable Giving: Company's achieve their goals of donating to good causes via our "100% goes to the charity" promise. 
  • Brand building via Logo's on our ride shirts - Our photo's appear in press and magazine (and maybe TV this time!)

Choose from Two levels of sponsorship opportunity...

Our rides have a huge amount of sponsorship and support. We have two levels of sponsorship and support that companies participate in: -

  • Support Team Partners - Companies that provide equipment, assistance or fund multiple rides. We put logo's on our Support Team footer on every web page, a short narrative about the help they give us, links to their websites and the products they provided. They also get their logo on our ride shirts.
  • Website sponsors - These folks sponsor a single ride; their website link appears on the ride page alongside a description they provide. That's a lot of good quality local marketing from only £20.
